Protecting Your Property

We would like to remind the community that with warmer temperatures comes the
increased responsibility of ensuring your valuables are protected. Warmer weather
usually has us bringing out valuables such as lawn furniture, garden decorations and
bicycles. This is also a time when we leave doors and windows open and unlocked.
Citizens are encouraged to take a second to look inside their vehicles for items (wallets,
electronics, change, GPS, garage door openers, ect) that may make them an attractive target for thieves, remove the items and then lock the vehicle.

If it is valuable to you, please don?t leave an item in a place where it can be easily stolen.

We encourage everyone to report all incidents of theft and/or attempt theft of your property to the Brantford Police Service.

Report Crime Online
The BPS encourages citizens to report all crimes and suspicious activities which take place on your property. All thefts from your motor vehicles should be reported to the BPS regardless if items are stolen.
