(LONDON, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), in a joint investigation with Brantford Police Service and under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), have arrested two additional individuals in connection with a double-homicide in the City of Brantford last summer.
On July 18, 2019, Dorothy Lynn VANEVERY, 62-years-old and Larry REYNOLDS, 64-years-old, were found deceased in their home on Park Road South in Brantford.
Nathan Lloyd Emlyn HOWES 30-years-old of Brantford was arrested on Monday September 21st, 2020. He was charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder (Criminal Code Section 235(1)). The accused remains in custody with a scheduled appearance by video before the Ontario Court of Justice on September 28, 2020.
Malik MBUYI 19-years-old of Toronto was arrested on Tuesday September 22nd, 2020 and also charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder (Criminal Code Section 235(1)). He too remains in custody with a scheduled appearance by video before the Ontario Court of Justice on September 25, 2020.
These arrests and charges follow the arrest and charge earlier this year of Kareem ZEDAN, 22-years-old of Pickering, who was arrested in Thunder Bay on March 24, 2020, and also faces two counts of First-Degree Murder (Criminal Code Section 235(1)).
