BRANTFORD HOMICIDE SUSPECT ARRESTED IN THUNDER BAY

(LONDON, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), in a joint investigation with Brantford Police Service and under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), have arrested an individual in connection with a double-homicide in the City of Brantford last summer.

On July 18, 2019, Dorothy Lynn VANEVERY, 62-years-old and Larry REYNOLDS, 64-years-old, were found deceased in their home on Park Road South in Brantford.

The accused, Kareem ZEDAN, 22-years-old of Pickering, was arrested in Thunder Bay on March 24, 2020, and is charged with two counts of First-Degree Murder (Criminal Code Section 235(1)).

The accused remains in custody with a scheduled appearance by video before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on April 2, 2020.
