Incident: 19-15205
Location: Colborne Street East         
Incident: On Sunday April 28, 2019 at around 11:30 a.m. Community Patrol Officers were on Patrol when they noticed an individual known to them as having conditions not to be in the City limits.  When Officers approached the male he fled into a motel room.  Officers were able to locate the male who was attempting to conceal suspected drugs.  The male was arrested without incident.  The accused was found to be in possession of Crack Cocaine (value $100), Powder Cocaine (value$60) and Hydromorphine capsules (value $400).  A 33 year old Barrie male has been charged with Breach of Recognizance and Breach of Probation under the Criminal Code.  He is also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance x3 under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Incident: 19-15256
Location: Victoria Street        
Incident:  On Sunday April 28, 2019 just after 6:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service responded to a 9-1-1 call at a residence on Victoria Street.  Two males had broken into the victim’s residence where he was assaulted and his phone was stolen.  The suspects fled the residence on foot.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the victim who was not injured as a result of the incident.  One of the suspects was located a short distance away from the residence and arrested without incident.  A 29 year old Brantford male has been charged with Break, Enter and Commit and Robbery.  Brantford Police Service continues to investigate this incident and a second suspect is still outstanding.

Location: Dalhousie Street      
Incident: On Sunday April 28, 2019 at around 11:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a call about a disturbance at a residence on Dalhousie Street.  A male who use to live at the residence had attended and was banging on doors.  When he spoke to people inside he pushed his way into the residence and started to cause a disturbance and making threats.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the residence where they locate the accused as he was trying to flee out the back.  The accused was arrested without incident.  Information was received that the accused was currently bound by a court order with conditions.  An 18 year old Brantford male has been charged with  Assault, Utter Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm and Fail to Comply with Recognizance Order under the Criminal Code.

Location: Drummond Street      
Incident:  On Saturday April 27, 2019 at around 10:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a disturbance out front of a residence on Drummond Street.  A group of people had been seen fighting outside the residence.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area however the parties had dispersed prior to police arrival.  While speaking to the resident’s investigation revealed that a family member had attended the residence and started to cause a disturbance.  When she was asked to leave she brandished a knife and came at of one of the occupants.  They were able to get inside and locked the door.  The suspect stated to bang on the door causing damage before leaving the area.  None of the residence were injured as a result of the incident.  Officers searched the area and located the suspect a short distance away.  The accused was arrested without incident.  While dealing with police the accused’s behaviour became out of control and she was transported to hospital for treatment.  While at the hospital she became aggressive and threatening towards officers and hospital staff.  Information was received that the accused was currently bound by a court order with conditions.  As a result of the investigation a 19 year old Brantford woman is charged with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of Weapons Dangerous, Utter Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm, Mischief to Property Under $5000 and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

Incident: 19-15094
Location: Fairview Drive      
Incident:  On Saturday April 27, 2019 Brantford Police Service received information about a vehicle that was stuck on a concrete retaining wall on Fairview Drive.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the vehicle.  Officers spoke to the male driver who showed signs of impairment.  The driver was arrested and transported to the Brantford Police Service where he was to provide samples of his breath as required by law.  The accused samples were over two times the legal limit.  Information was received that the accused was also a prohibited driver with a suspended licence. A 49 year old Brantford male has been charged with Operation While Impaired, 80 Plus and Operation While Prohibited x2 under the Criminal Code.  His vehicle was impounded for 45 days.
