Incident: 17-47087 
Location: King George Road
Incident: On Friday December 8, 2017 shortly after 8:15 p.m. Community Patrol Officers observed a vehicle being operated on King George Road.  Officers performed a traffic stop and spoke to the driver.  Officers upon speaking to the driver had suspicions that they may have been consuming alcoholic beverages and a roadside screening device was administered.  During the roadside testing the driver registered a fail and was arrested for Impaired Operation Over 80.  The accused was taken to the Brantford Police Service where he provided two samples of his breath as required by law. The accused readings were two times over the legal limit.  The accused a 47 year old Brantford man is charged with Operate a Motor Vehicle Over 80.

Further the accused licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

Location: King George Road (500 Block)
Incident:   On Saturday December 9, 2017 just before 2:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a disturbance.  Information was received that two males had been fighting outside a business on King George Road and one male had threatened the other with a wrench.   Community Patrol Officers attended to the area and located a 23 year old male and a 39 year old female victim?s outside.  After speaking to the victims, it was discovered that a domestic incident had occurred between the female and a male inside the business.  When the female victim had tried to leave her boyfriend refused to return her cellphone.  A family member (victim #2) attended to pick-up the female when an argument ensued between victim #2 and the suspect.  The suspect became upset and threatened victim #2 with a wrench.  Victim #2 attended to the business to retrieve victim #1?s cellphone when the two engaged in a physically altercation.  During the altercation the accused took and smashed victim #2 cellphone.  Both victims involved received non-life threatening injuries.  The accused was contacted and arrested without incident.  Investigation revealed that the accused was currently bound by five different court orders.  The accused a 40 year old Cambridge male is charged with Possession of Weapons Dangerous, Choking, Assault, Mischief to Property Under $5000.00, Fail to Comply with Recognizance x2 and Breach of Probation x3.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Location: King George Road
Incident: Saturday December 9th, 2017 just after 11:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 called to the area of A&W Restaurant at 72 King George Road.  A concerned citizen reported that a male was seen chasing another male on a bike in the area with what appeared to be a gun.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area and located a male matching the description coming out of the washroom inside the A&W Restaurant.  The male was arrested without incident.  In speaking to the accused it was determined that the gun was a BB gun and had been disposed of in the garbage in the washroom.  Steven Wilfred Grayston a 32 year old Brantford man is charged with Possession of Weapon Dangerous and Pointing a Firearm.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Location: West Street
Incident: On Sunday December 10, 2017 just after 5:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a disturbance in the hallway of a residential complex.  Community Patrol Officers attended and located a disturbance inside one of the units.  While attempting to speak to people inside the residence, one of them jumped out a window in an attempt to leave the scene.  While jumping from the window the male landed on a car below causing damage to the vehicle.  The accused was arrested without incident as he tried to walk away from the scene.  Investigation revealed that the accused was currently bound by a court order.  A 27 year old Brantford man is charged with Mischief to Property Under $5000.00 and Brach of Probation.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.
