Type:  Theft and Possession Under 
Incident: 18-48928
Location: Peel Street      
Incident: On Tuesday December 11, 2018 just before 3:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a report about an unwanted person at an address on Peel Street.  The owner of the residence believed that a female that was on court ordered conditions not to be at this address, was currently there and in breach of her court order.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the address on Peel Street where they located and arrested the accused without incident.  While dealing with the accused she was found to be in possession of property that had previously been reported stolen.  The accused was in possession of identification, credit cards and checks, all of which had been stolen over the past week.  A 18 year old Brantford woman is charged with  Possession of Credit Card x2, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.00 x3 and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Location: Elgin Street at Clarence Street
Incident:  On Tuesday December 11, 2018 just after 11:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a call about a two vehicle accident at Elgin Street and Clarence Street.  One of the vehicles involved had been stopped at the red light when it was rear ended by the second vehicle.  The second vehicle then drove away from the scene.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the vehicle and the driver.  The driver had left the scene of the accident and had driven home.   While dealing with the driver she showed signs of impairment and was arrested.  The driver was transported in order to provide two samples of her breath as required by law.  The accused refused to provide samples of her breath.  A 54 year old Brantford woman has been charged with Impaired Driving and Refuse to Provide Sample under the Criminal Code.  Her licence was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
