Incident: 17-48348 
Location: Emilie Street and Mohawk Street
Incident: On Monday December 18, 2017 just after 11:00 p.m. Brantford police Service received a call from a concerned citizen.  The citizen reported a suspicious male walking into the roadway on Emilie Street and Mohawk Street.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area and located the male.  Upon speaking to the male officers determined that he was under the influence of alcohol.  A 63 year old Brantford male was charged with Being Intoxicated in a Public Place.

Location: Fairview Drive ? Zehr?s
Incident: On Monday December 18, 2017 just before 10:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a call from a Loss Prevention Officer at Zehr?s.  A female was currently in the store that had been investigated for a shoplifting incident.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the store and located the female.  Investigation revealed that the female was currently wanted on two outstanding warrants.  The female was arrested without incident.  A 40 year old Brantford woman is charged with Theft Under $5000.00, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.00, Escape Lawful Custody and Breach of Probation x2.  The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Location: Peel Street at Colborne Street
Incident:   On Tuesday December 19, 2017 just after 1:00 a.m. Community Patrol Officers were in the area of Peel Street and Colborne Street.  Officer?s observed a group of males in the area who appeared to be having an argument.  Officers stopped to speak to the group when they broke up and started to walk away.  Officers observed an individual they recognized as being wanted on an outstanding warrant.  When officers tried to speak to the accused he began to run and a short foot pursuit was conducted.  The accused was arrested a short distance away.  A 41 year old Brantford man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Breach of Probation.  The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.  .
