Location: Henry Street
Incident: On Sunday July 15, 2018 just after 6:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a call about a stolen bicycle. The victim had previously reported their bike stolen from a business on Lynden Road. While in the area of Henry Street and Wayne Gretzky Pkwy the victim observed an unknown male operating their stolen bicycle. Community Patrol Officers attended to the location where they located the suspect male. Investigation revealed the accused to be in possession of the stolen property. Further investigation revealed the accused to be in possession of break-in instruments as well as being bound by a court order with conditions. A 34 year old Brantford male is charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000, Possession of Break-in Instruments and Breach of Probation. The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Location: Grey Street at George Street
Incident: On Sunday July 15, 2018 just after 9:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about an unknown male with a knife. The victim had been in the area of Grey Street and George Street when he was confronted by the accused. The accused threatened the victim, pulled a knife and started to chase him down the street. While chasing the victim the accused was threatening to kill him. Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where the accused was located and arrested without incident. The victim was not injured as a result of the altercation. A 19 year old Brantford male has been charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm, Assault with a Weapon and Possession of Weapons Dangerous under the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
Type: Break and Enter ? Residential
Location: West Street
Incident: On Saturday July 14th, 2018 just after 11:00 p.m. the Brantford Police Service received a call about a Break and Enter in progress to a residence on West Street. An unknown male had just kicked in the side door to a residence on West Street but fled when confronted by the home owner. The accused proceeded to a residence next door where he then kicked in the front door to the residence. While inside he ransacked and caused damage to the inside of the residence. Community Patrol Officers attended to the residence where they located the accused who was arrested without incident. Investigation revealed that the accused was currently bound by a court order with conditions. The accused a 25 year old Ohsweken male is charged with Break, Enter and Commit x2, Theft Under $5000, Mischief Under $5000 and Breach of Probation under the Criminal Code. The accused was held for a bail hearing.
