Type: Break and Enter - Residential

Location: West Street    
Incident: On Monday July 30th, 2018 Brantford Police Service received a report of a Break and Enter to a residence on West Street.  Sometime overnight unknown person(s) broke into the residence.  Reported stolen was a mountain bike and a gaming console.

Location: Dalhousie Street    
Incident: On Monday July 30, 2018 just before 5:30 p.m. the Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call from a residence on Dalhousie Street.  A report was received about a male who was outside yelling and screaming and causing a disturbance in the neighbourhood.  The male had gotten into a verbal argument with a neighbour which turned physical.  The victim was able to retreat into his residence while the accused continue to scream at him, threating to kill him.  The accused then spoke to another person in the area where he proceeded to smack her in the buttocks.  The second victim was able to leave the area.  Community Patrol Officers attended and upon arrival located the accused who was acting in an aggressive manner in the street.  When officers arrived the accused approached and started to punch a marked police vehicle.  During his arrest the accused was found to be in possession of marihuana.  The accused was transported to the Brantford Police Service where he further damaged Police Property.  A 32 year old Brantford male is charged with Assault, Uttering Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm, Sexual Assault, Mischief to Property Under $5000.00 and Assault Police under the Criminal Code.  He was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marihuana) under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.
