Type: Break and Enter - Commercial
Incident: 17- 22884
Location: Colborne Street East (600 block)
Incident: On Tuesday, June 20, 2017 a break and enter to a business was reported. The business is currently undergoing construction and renovation. Unknown person(s) entered the business causing damage and stole copper piping and scrap metal. 

Type: Theft from Motor Vehicle 
Incident: 17- 22889
Location:  Laycock Street
Incident: On June 20 a citizen reported that sometime overnight a Bose Revolve Bluetooth speaker was stolen from a vehicle parked on Laycock Street.  

Type: Transportation Fraud 
Incident: 17- 22950
Location: Darling Street (0-100 block)
Incident: On June 21, 2017 shortly after 3:30 a.m. a man requested police for assistance after a man fled the vehicle without paying his fare. The accused had attempted to pay the fare using a VISA gift card however the card provided had no funds. The male then fled on foot south bound on Darling Street. Community Patrol Officers attended in the area and located the accused.

The accused, a 37 year old Waterloo man was arrested without incident and charged with Fraudulently Obtaining Transportation and released on an Appearance Notice with a future court date.
