Incident: On Friday November 10, 2017 at around 5:30 p.m. the Brantford Police Service received a call from Brantford Transit regarding a belligerent female passenger. The female had been rude and belligerent towards Transit staff at the main bus terminal. A concerned citizen tried to calm the situation and was assaulted by the suspect female. The 22 year old female victim did not require medical attention. Community patrol officers attended and searched the area as the suspect had left prior to police arrival. On November 11, 2017 just before 12:00 p.m. the suspect was seen by officers in the downtown area. The accused a 65 year old Brantford woman is charged with assault and Breach of Probation x2 under the Criminal Code. The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Incident: On Saturday November 11, 2017 just after 5:30 p.m. a resident on Fairview Drive reported to police that she had received several threatening messages over Facebook. Community Patrol Officers attended and spoke to the 34 year old female victim who stated that she had received numerous harassing and threatening messages through Facebook Messenger. The threats received related to causing bodily harm to the victim and damaging her property. James Cole, 33 years old of Hamilton has been charged with Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm or Death and Uttering Threats to cause damage to property under the Criminal Code. The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Incident: On Saturday November 11, 2017 just after 9:30 p.m. the Brantford Police Service attended to a call on Sheridan Street. While at the residence, a resident became upset and confrontational towards others inside. The accused picked up a piece of computer equipment, threw it and stuck the 42 year old female victim. The accused also threatened bodily harm to others inside the residence. The victim did not require medical attention. A 24 year old Brantford woman is charged with Assault with a Weapon, Utter Threats to cause Bodily Harm or Death and Mischief Under $5000.00. The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Incident: On Sunday November 12, 2017 a resident on Mount Pleasant Street reported that their residence had been broken into. Sometime over the weekend unknown person(s) entered the residence through a side window. Reported stolen was jewelry, a gaming system and a computer.
