Location: Terrace Hill Street  
Incident: On Thursday November 2, 2018 just after 11:30 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a call about a suspicious male who was found in the hallway of a building on Terrace Hill Street.  The male had left when confronted by residents but was seen hanging around the area.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located and spoke to the male.  Information received was the male was currently wanted on an outstanding warrant for his arrest.  While dealing with the male he was found to be in possession of a small amount of suspected crystal methamphetamine and heroin.  A 47 year old Brantford male was arrested on the outstanding warrant and has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance x2 under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Incident:  On Sunday October 28, 2018 just before 10:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a call from a business on Market Street South regarding a suspicious vehicle.  An unknown male and female had been seen in a vehicle in the parking lot and it was believed that they may be under the influence.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area and located the vehicle in the parking lot.  A male was seen approaching the vehicle and when he observed police he got into the vehicle and drove away at a high rate of speed.  Information was received that the licence plates attached to the vehicle had been reported stolen.  Officers attempted to stop the vehicle however due to public safety Officers did not engage in a pursuit.  Officers were able to identify the driver who on Thursday November 1, 2018 was located and arrested.  A 29 year old Strathroy male has been charged with Dangerous Driving, Fail To Stop, Possession of Stolen Property Under $ 5000.00 and Breach of Probation under Criminal Code of Canada.  He is also charged with Fail to Yield to Traffic on Through Highway, Drive motor vehicle- no licence and Drive while Under Suspension under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
