Location: Lynden Road    
Incident: On Friday November 23, 2018 Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call from a store inside the Lynden Park Mall.  An unknown male was inside the store yelling, screaming and swearing which was disrupting employees and customers.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the mall where they observed the mall now walking the hallways.  The male continued to cause a disturbance and was arrested.  While dealing with the male he resisted arrest and was found to be in possession of break-in instruments.  A 27 year old Brantford male is charged with Causing A Disturbance, Possession of Break-In Instruments, Resist Arrest and Breach of Probation.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Location: Wayne Gretzky Parkway  
Incident: On Sunday November 25, 2018 just before 3:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a possible impaired driver driving on Wayne Gretzky Parkway.  The vehicle was seen traveling at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of marked lanes and almost driving into the ditch.  Community Patrol Officers located and stopped the vehicle.  Officers spoke to the male driver who showed signs of impairment and Officers found open alcohol in the vehicle.  Investigation revealed that the driver was a novice and unlicensed driver.  The driver was arrested and transported to the Brantford Police Service where he was to provide samples of his breath as required by law.  The accused refused to provide samples as required.  A 22 year old Brantford male is charged with Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle, Refuse to Provide Breath Sample and Breach of Probation under the Criminal Code.  He is further charged with Operate Motor Vehicle with No Licence under the Highway Traffic Act and Open Alcohol in Vehicle under the Liquor Licence Act.  The drivers licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

Location: Market Street    
Incident: On Sunday November 25, 2018 just after 8:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received information about a possible impaired driver.  The vehicle was seen swerving in and out of marked lanes.  Community Patrol Officers located the vehicle driving on Market St as it pulled into a parking lot.  Officers spoke to the male driver who showed signs of impairment and open alcohol was located inside the vehicle.  The accused was arrested and transported to the Brantford Police Service where he was to provide samples of his breath as required by law.  The accused samples were over the legal limit.  A 30 year old Brantford male is charged with Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle and Operate Motor Vehicle – Over 80 under the Criminal Code.  The drivers licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.

Location: Fairview Drive    
Incident: On Saturday November 24, 2018 just after 8:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received information about a possible impaired driver.  The vehicle was seen swerving in and out of marked lanes.  Community Patrol Officers located the vehicle parked at a gas station on Fairview Drive.   Officers were advised by staff that an intoxicated female had parked the vehicle and was currently in the washroom.  Officers spoke to the female driver who showed signs of impairment and was arrested.  Investigation revealed that the driver was a novice driver.  The accused was transported to the Brantford Police Service where she was to provide samples of her breath as required by law.  The accused samples were over two times the legal limit.  A 21 year old Stoney Creek woman is charged with Impaired Operation of Motor Vehicle and Operate Motor Vehicle – Over 80 undewr the Criminal Code.  She is also charged with Novice Driver Blood Alcohol Concentration Above Zero under the Highway Traffic Act.  The drivers licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
