Type:  Robbery
Incident: 18-47350
Location: Sympatica Cres    
Incident: On November 29, 2018 just after 9:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a disturbance in the hallway of an apartment building on Sympatica Cres.  Two males were seen arguing and then fighting in the hallway.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the victim.  Investigation revealed that the two males were known to each other and that the two had a dispute over money when the accused assaulted the victim and stole his watch.  The accused then fled the area in a vehicle.  Officers were able to locate and arrest the accused without incident.  A  32 year old Brantford male is charged with Robbery, Utter Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm and Mischief to Property Under $5000.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Location: Colborne Street   
Incident:  On Wednesday November 28, 2018 just after 5:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a report of a fight at a business on Colborne Street.  The victim had been inside the business and when he left he was confronted by the accused.  The victim went back into the business but was followed and assaulted by the accused.  The altercation was broken up by staff members and the accused fled the area on a bicycle.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the victim who received non-life threatening injuries.  Officers were able to locate and arrest the accused a short time later without incident.  Information was received that the accused was currently bound by a court order with conditions.  A 15 year old Brantford male is charged with Assault and Breach of Undertaking.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Location: Market Street    
Incident: On Wednesday November 28, 2018 just after 11:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call from a business on Market Street.  An unknown female had been denied access to the business and had returned with a knife.  The female was waving the knife at employees at the business.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the business where they located and arrested the accused without incident.  Information received that the accused was currently bound by a court order with conditions.  A 21 year old Brantford woman is charged with Assault with a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Breach of Probation.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Incident: 18-47210
Location: Peel Street     
Incident: On Thursday November 29, 2018 just after 12:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a female threatening people with a knife at an address on Peel Street.  Two females had gotten into a verbal argument at the residence when the accused smashed a mirror and took the broken glass and started to damage the residence.  The accused then picked up a knife and threatened the victim with it.  The victim was able to leave the residence and contact police.  At one point during the altercation the accused came outside and threw an object at the victim, missing her but damaging her car.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the addresses where they located and arrested the accused without incident.  The victim received non-life threatening injuries as a result of the incident.  An 18 year old Brantford woman has been charged with Assault with a Weapon x2, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose and Mischief Under $5000.00.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.    

Type: Break and Enter – Arrest

Location: Roy Blvd.     
Incident:  On Wednesday November 28, 2018 just before 2:30 a.m. Brantford Police Service received an alarm call from a business on Roy Blvd.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the business where they discovered that the fence had been cut and the compound entered.  Further investigation revealed that copper piping had been removed from the secure compound.  Officers searched the area and located a vehicle that was driving away from the area.  Officers stopped the vehicle and spoke to the three occupants.  Upon investigation officers located the copper piping and arrested the three males inside the vehicle.  While dealing with the males they provided false information to police and were found to be bound by court orders with conditions.  The driver was found to be in possession of suspected cocaine and had a suspended drivers licence.  As a result of the investigation three males have been charged with various criminal offences.  Accused #1 a 42 year old Brantford male is charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 and Breach of Probation under the Criminal Code.  Accused #2 a 28 year old Brantford male is charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000, Obstruct Police and Breach of Probation under the Criminal Code.  He is also charged with Possession of Controlled substance under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act and Drive While Under Suspension under the Highway Traffic Act.  Accuse #3 a 30 year old Brantford male is charged with Break and Enter, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 and Obstruct Police under the Criminal Code.
