Type:    Motor Vehicle Collision
Incident:  17-42881
Location:  King George Road and Norman Street
Incident: On Monday November 6, 2017 just after 4:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service attended to a motor vehicle Collision between a car and a pedestrian.  A 13 year old male pedestrian riding a skateboard and a vehicle had collided.  As a result of the collision the pedestrian received serious injuries and was transported to and remains in hospital.  A 58 year old driver was not injured in the collision.  The intersection was closed for several hours while the Traffic Unit conducted their investigation.  No charges have been laid and the investigation continues.    The BPS Traffic Unit is continuing their investigation into the collision and is requesting any witnesses who have yet to speak with officers to contact Cst. Location:  Murray Street and Grey Street
Incident: On Monday November 6, 2017 just before 11:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a suspicious male in the area of Grey Street and Murray Street.  The male was acting in an aggressive manner and damaging property in the area.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located a male matching the description.  Officers tried to speak to the male in attempts to calm him down when the male became aggressive towards police.  A 25 year old Brantford man is charged with Mischief to Property Under $5000, Assault Peace Officer and Breach of Recognizance.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Location: Park Ave   
Incident: On Tuesday November 7, 2017 just after 12:00 a.m. employees from a business on Park Ave called the Brantford Police Service about a suspicious person that was seen going through vehicles in the employee parking lot.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area and spoke to the employees who provided a description of the male.  Officers checked the area and located the male who fled from police.  A short foot pursuit ensued and the male was arrested.  The accused was found to be in possession of items taken from the vehicles.  A 21 year old Brantford man is charged with Theft Under $5000, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 and Trespass by Night under the Criminal Code.  The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date along with an Officer in Charge Undertaking with conditions.
