Domestic - Brantford Woman Charged Attempt Murder

On Wednesday January 17, 2018 shortly before 8:00 a.m. the Brantford Police Service attended an address on Edith Monture Avenue regarding a disturbance.  Two children in the home had received non-life threatening injuries.
The accused was taken first to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and then transported to the Brantford Police Service. 
As a result of this investigation the accused, a 46 year old Brantford woman is charged with Attempt Murder X2 and is held in custody for a bail hearing on today?s date.

The Brantford Police Service will not be releasing the name of the accused or any information regarding the victims to protect their identity.

On Wednesday January 17, 2018 shortly before 8:00 a.m., the Brantford Police Service received a call to assist ambulance at an address on Edith Monture Avenue.  A 46 year old Brantford woman was taken into custody at the home. Two children at the home were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 
The accused was also transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and remains in police custody.

The investigation continues. The scene has been secured and officers from the BPS Major Crime Unit and Forensics Identification Unit will remain at the scene continuing their investigation.
