Drug Seizure and Two Arrested by BPS Street Crime Unit

On Tuesday, March 30, 2021 members of the Brantford Police Service Street Crime Unit arrested a male and a female following a drug trafficking investigation. At the time of arrest, the male attempted to escape custody by fleeing on foot, however he was unsuccessful and was apprehended.

Following the arrest of both persons, a search warrant was executed at a dwelling in the area of Spring Lane and Jarvis Street where the following items were seized:
  • Approximately 44 grams of suspected cocaine (estimated street value of $4500)
  • Canadian Currency 
  • Cellular phones
  • Digital scale
  • Sport Utility Vehicle

As a result of the investigation, the following persons are facing criminal charges:

Gregory Ivan MILLAR, a 46-year-old male of Brantford is charged with:
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
  • Escape Lawful Custody contrary to the Criminal Code
  • Drive While Under Suspension contrary to the Highway Traffic Act

A 46-year-old female of Brantford is charged with:
  • Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
