Location: Peel Street       
Incident: On Thursday January 10, 2019 Brantford Police Service received a report of a suspicion person on Peel Street.  City of Brantford employees had attended to an abandoned building on Peel Street where they discovered that the building appeared to have been entered.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the residence where they located two people inside.  While dealing with the two people, investigation revealed that the one was currently bound by a court order with conditions that they were currently contravening.  The accused was arrested without incident.  The accused was found to be in possession of a small amount of suspected cocaine (value $50.00).  A 19 year old Brantford woman is charged with Fail to Comply with Recognizance x2 under the Criminal Code.  She is further charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (cocaine) under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.        

Type: Impaired Driver - Alcohol
Incident: 19-01383
Location: Sinclair Blvd     
Incident: On Thursday January 10, 2019 just after 11:30 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a report of a motor vehicle accident on Sinclair Blvd.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located a vehicle in the ditch on Sinclair Blvd at Shellington Place.  Officers spoke to the driver of the vehicle who showed signs of impairment.  Investigation revealed the male held a novice drivers licence.  The driver was arrested and transported to the Brantford Police Service where he was to provide samples of his breath as required by law.  A 21 year old Brantford male has been charged with Operation While Impaired under the Criminal Code.  The Drivers licence was suspended for 3 days for a Novice Driver having a blood alcohol concentration more than zero.     
    
Type: Break and Enter - Arrest
Incident: 19-01249
Location: Ann Street      
Incident: On Wednesday January 9, 2018 just before 9:30 p.m. Officers observed a male in the area of Colborne Street and Stanley Street.  Information was received that the male was currently bound by a court order with conditions that he was contravening.  Officers spoke to the male who was arrested without incidnet.  During the investigation Brantford Police received a report of a Break and Enter that had occurred on Ann St.  An unknown person(s) had forced open the rear door and rummaged through the residence.  Reported stolen were a number of items including a T.V., computer, money, jewellery and watches.  While dealing with the accused he was found to be in possession of property (jewellery and watches) stolen from the Break and Enter.  A 38 year old Brantford male has been charged with Break, Enter and Commit, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.00, Breach of Recognizance x2 and Breach of Probation.
