Incident: 18-25582
Location: Oakley Drive   
Incident: On Tuesday July 3, 2018 Brantford Police Service received a report of a Break and Enter to a property on Oakley Road.  Sometime overnight unknown person(s) entered the rear shed.  At the time of the report it was unknown what was taken.

Incident: On Tuesday July 3, 2018 just after 9:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a unknown naked male on Icomm Drive.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the male.  Investigation revealed that the male had been in and around the area, including the Brantford Skate Park.  The male was arrested without incident.  A 56 year old Brantford male is charged with Indecent Act/Exposure and was held for a bail hearing.

Location: Shellard Lane    
Incident: On Tuesday July 3, 2018 just after 9:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a domestic disturbance at a residence on Shellard Lane.  The accused had attended to her ex-boyfriend?s residence and started to cause a disturbance.  She was asked to leave by the victim numerous times but refused.  The accused began to argue with the victim, punched him and threatened to kill him.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located and arrested the accused without incident.  The victim was not injured during the incident.  A 33 year old Brantford woman is charged with Assault and Utter Threats to Cause Death or Bodily Harm.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Brantford Police Charge Two People In Relation To A Series Of Incidents

The Brantford Police Service have arrested and charged a male and female in relation to a series of incidents.

On Monday July 2, 2018 just after 1:00 p.m. Community Patrol Officers located a stolen motor vehicle parked at a Motel on Colborne Street.  The vehicle had been reported stolen from Hamilton.  Investigation revealed that the two accused had recently parked the vehicle in the parking lot and entered a room within the Motel.  Officers located the two accused within the room who were arrested without incident.  Investigation revealed that accused #1 was currently bound by a court order with conditions and was also wanted on outstanding warrants.  Accused #2 was also wanted on outstanding warrants.  Both parties have been subjects in a number of recent investigations.
 
The two accused are charged with the following offences related to the stolen motor vehicle they were operating and located at the Motel.
 
Accused #1 ? George Nathan Sault a 25 year old Hamilton male is charged with:

Accused #2 ? Brittney Dawn Elliott a 23 year old female from Ohsweken is charged with:

1. POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY OVER $5000 - SECTION 355(a) CCC

Brantford Police Service is currently investigating a series of incidents that occurred during the evening of June 19, 2018 in the East end of the City. 

At approximately 6:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a call about a suspicious vehicle on Elgin Street.   Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they observed the vehicle.  The vehicle was identified as being reported stolen and was involved in a theft of gas at a local gas station.  Officers approached the vehicle where they observed two occupants in the front seat of the vehicle.  The driver proceeded to ram a marked police vehicle and fled the scene at a high rate of speed.   Shortly after dealing with the vehicle Brantford Police Service received a report of three vehicles that had been set on fire on Abbott Court.

Brantford Police Service received further information that a suspicious vehicle had been seen around the area of the Lynden Park Mall.  Community Patrol Officers attended and investigation revealed that another vehicle had been stolen from the parking lot and was seen leaving East Bound on Lynden Road.    Officers observed smoke coming from a vehicle fire on Bodine Drive and discovered that the original stolen vehicle had been set on fire.  The latest stolen vehicle was seen entering a set of train tracks of off Lynden Road.  A report was received that the stolen vehicle had been struck by a train and the two occupants had fled the area on foot.  Officers attended to the area and with the assistance from the OPP K9 a track was conducted.  During the track it was discovered that the two suspects had stolen another vehicle from a property located on McMillian Road and fled the area.
 
Brantford Police Service has identified two people of interest and is currently investigating this string of events and is requesting anyone with information to contact us 519-756-0113.

Type:  Stolen Vehicle - Arrest

Location: Hunter Way   
Incident: On Monday July 2, 2018 just before 9:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a call about a stolen vehicle from an address on Hunter Way.  The vehicle had been taken from the address sometime overnight.  Community Patrol Officers through investigation were able to locate the stolen vehicle.  The vehicle was observed in the area of Heagerty Street.  Two unknown males were seen in the vehicle; accused #1 fled from police and was arrested after a short foot pursuit.  Accused #2 was arrested without incident.  Accused #1, a 20 year old Brantford male is charged with Possession Stolen Property Over $5000 and Escape Lawful Custody under the Criminal Code.  He was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance under the Controlled Dugs and Substances Act as he was found to be in possession of marijuana upon his arrest.  Accused #2, a 20 year old Brantford male is charged with Occupant of Vehicle without consent.

Location: Farringford Drive    
Incident: On Monday July 2, 2018 just before 3:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call from a residence on Farringford Drive.  An unknown male had been in the area and was causing a disturbance.  The unknown male then confronted a resident who was outside his residence.  During the confrontation the accused assaulted the victim and damaged his vehicle that was parked in the driveway.  The accused then left the area.  The victim received non-life threatening injuries.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they were able to locate the accused a short distance away.   The accused was arrested without incident.  A 40 year old Brantford male is charged with Assault and Mischief to Property Under $5000 under the Criminal Code.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Incident: 18-25038
Location: Colborne Street   
Incident: On Friday June 29, 2018 shortly after 3:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a 9-1-1 call about a motor vehicle collision.  An unknown vehicle and driver had struck another vehicle on Colborne Street and fled the scene.  Witnesses in the area provided a description of the vehicle and driver, including the damage to the vehicle.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located a vehicle matching the description parked on Colborne Street.  The vehicle had significant damage to the front end, matching the damage from the accident.  Upon speaking to the owner of the vehicle, she reported the vehicle stolen.  Investigation revealed that the vehicle was not stolen and that the owner had made a false report to police in an attempt to assist the person who had driven her vehicle.  A 24 year old Niagara Falls woman is charged with Public Mischief and was released on a future court date.

Location: Wayne Gretzky Parkway    
Incident: On Friday June 29, 2018 just after 8:00 p.m. Community Patrol Officers observed a vehicle traveling on Wayne Gretzky Parkway.  Information was received that the validation permit on the vehicle had expired.  Officers performed a traffic stop and spoke to the male driver.  Investigation revealed that the drivers licence was currently suspended.  The driver was also unable to provide proof of insurance for the vehicle.  A 37 year old Windsor male is charged with Drive While Under Suspension and Drive Motor Vehicle ? No Currently Validated Permit under the Highway Traffic Act.  He is further charged with Fail to Provide Insurance Card under the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act.

Location:  Banbury Road          
Incident:   On Sunday July 1, 2018 just before 2:00 a.m. Brantford Police Service received a call to attend a residence on Banbury Road.  The victim reported that she had returned home and noticed that her ex-boyfriend was standing in her house.  She had received numerous harassing phone calls, voice messages and text messages from him over the course of the evening.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the residence where they located the accused inside.  Investigation revealed that the accused was currently bound by a court order with conditions.  A 34 year old Brantford male is charged with Criminal Harassment and Unlawfully in a Dwelling House under the Criminal Code.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.

Location: Glanville Ave   
Incident: On Sunday July 1, 2018 just after 4:00 p.m. Brantford Police Service received a call about a suspicious female who was seen in and around a residence on Glanville Ave.  The female had been seen in the rear yard of the residence and was smashing items at the property.  Community Patrol Officers attended to the area where they located the female.  Investigation revealed that the accused had broken into the residence and the back shed and had taken a number of items from the residence.  Information was received that the accused was currently bound by a court order with conditions.  A 32 year old Brantford woman is charged with Break and Enter, Mischief Under $5000 and Disobey Court Order under the Criminal Code.  The accused was held for a bail hearing.
