BPS Seeking Witness Information after Driver Flees from Stolen Vehicle

Early Sunday morning at approximately 4:39 AM a Silver GMC Sierra was observed driving at a high rate of speed southbound on Ninth Avenue before striking a tree on Erie Avenue.

Investigations revealed the vehicle involved was stolen out of Langton with stolen plates out of Brantford affixed to it.

A 37-year-old female was arrested on scene and charged for possession of stolen property over $5,000.

The driver of the vehicle remains outstanding as he fled prior to police arrival.

A description of the driver is a white male, short brown hair, wearing a dark colour hoodie and jeans.

Police are requesting those who live in Eagle Place between the boundaries of River Road and Mohawk Street or anyone in the area with dash cam to review footage between 4:30am – 5:30am and contact Constable Joe Camilleri at jcamilleri@police.brantford.on.ca.
