BPS Chief’s Advisory Committee Concludes 2025 Term

The Brantford Police Service is pleased to advise the community that the Brantford Police Service Chief’s Advisory Committee has officially concluded its 2025 term.
The purpose of the Brantford Police Service Chief’s Advisory Committee (the Committee) is to provide the Chief of Police and the Brantford Police Service with community-based perspectives, feedback, and advice on policing priorities, service initiatives, and emerging community issues. The Committee supports meaningful collaboration between the Brantford Police Service and community members, strengthens trust and transparency, and helps ensure Service decisions are informed by diverse lived experiences and local knowledge.
The Brantford Police Service is also proud to recognize that the 2025 committee was the first Chief’s Advisory Committee to meet with Chief Jason Saunders, marking an important step in ongoing community engagement and collaboration under the Chief’s leadership.
Throughout 2025, committee members contributed valuable insight and guidance on key priorities, including:
- New cruiser design
- New uniform design
- Feedback on the 2026 budget
