BPS Seek Witnesses of Collision

On March 24, 2026, the Brantford Police Service along with Brant-Brantford Paramedics and the Brantford Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Charing Cross Street and North Park Street. 

Investigation revealed that one of the involved vehicles had struck and knocked down a hydro pole prior to being involved in a secondary collision within the intersection. 

One of the involved drivers, a male in his 70’s from Brantford was transported to hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The Brantford Police Service Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation and are seeking information from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have dash camera or video surveillance from around at approximately 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, on North Park Street between Morton Ave and Charing Cross Street.
