Police Record Check Delivery Impacted by Canada Post Strike

Due to the ongoing Canada Post labour disruption, the delivery of police record checks by mail is temporarily unavailable.
As a result, individuals who have recently applied for a police record check with the Brantford Police Service will be contacted directly once their record check is complete. Applicants will then be advised to attend the Brantford Police Service at 344 Elgin Street, Brantford in person to pick up their document.
For record checks that were recently mailed, our clerks will be following up with applicants directly. You may be contacted to:
- Pick up a copy at the station, or
- Receive a secure download link by email.
If you do not hear from our Service, please contact us for arrangements to be made.
Applicants must bring:
- Government-issued photo identification
- Receipt or proof of application (if available)
Pick-up hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
