Truck driver charged following a multi-vehicle collision

On Thursday December 11, 2025, at approximately 10:40am, officers with the Brantford Police Service responded to the intersection of King George Road and Powerline Road following reports of a motor vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, the collision was determined to involve four passenger vehicles and one commercial motor vehicle (a transport truck with a loaded trailer). Significant damage to all vehicles involved was observed. Two drivers sustained minor injuries; one of those drivers was transported to hospital as a precaution.

The collision was investigated by the Brantford Police Service Traffic Unit with support from Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Transportation Enforcement Officers.

As a result of the investigation, a 28-year-old male truck driver and a trucking company have been charged with multiple offences contrary to the Ontario Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
