Request a Motor Vehicle Collision Report

Commending on October 1, 2024, The Brantford Police Service no longer accepts or processes requests for motor vehicle collision reports. 

Requests can be made directly through Service Ontario. 

Persons who can make a request via Service Ontario include:

  • Law firms whose client was involved in the motor collision
  • Persons or businesses who sustained damage to their property as a result of a motor vehicle collision
  • Pedestrians or passengers directly involved in a motor vehicle collision

Motor Vehicle Collision reports can be requested by the person or business directly involved through their insurance company.  Accident Support Services supplies the reports.

Requests for property damage reports, witness statements, officer’s notes and/or full reconstruction reports should still be submitted to the Brantford Police Service. These types of requests should be requested by completing the Routine Disclosure Request/Consent form. The initial applicable fees of $62.15 is to be submitted at the time of request.  There may be additional fees and we will notify the applicant of the breakdown of fees when the file has been prepared.
