BPS Arrest 35-year-old man for Multiple Sexual Assaults; Believe There May be Other Victims

Officers with the Brantford Police Service have arrested 35-year-old, Zachary STEELE, of Brantford and have laid numerous charges in connection to a sexual assault investigation that began in 2025.

Since November 2025, multiple victims have been identified. As a result of the investigation, Zachary STEELE, 35, of Brantford has been charged with the following offences: 

  • Sexual assault, victim under 16 years old
  • Invitation to sexual touching
  • Sexual interference
  • Sexual assault x 4
  • Aggravated sexual assault
  • Sexual assault causing bodily harm x 2
  • Assault
  • Forcible confinement
  • Voyeurism
  • Distribution of intimate images without consent
  • Bestiality

The accused was held for a bail hearing. At the time of this media release, he remains in custody.

Members of the Brantford Police Service Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit believe there may be additional victims in Brantford and other communities and ask anyone with information to contact the Brantford Police Service. The accused is known to be involved in the Live Action Role Play community in Brantford as well as the online platform FetLife.com. 

He is known to use online aliases of:

  • SteeleEgg
  • Steel242
  • TheSteele
  • BastardofSteele
  • Plotsteelr

The identity of the accused is being released as detectives believe there may be other victims who have yet to come forward. 

This investigation is active and ongoing.
