Brantford Police Investigating following Downtown Physical Altercation.

September 27th 2026,

On September 27th at 1:38pm, Brantford Police received a report of a physical altercation between two parties in the area of Dalhousie St and Clarence Street resulting in one male suffering from serious injuries.

Police arrived on scene and with Paramedics, Brantford Fire provided immediate medical assistance to the victim. The victim was later transported to an out of area hospital for his injuries.

The subject was located by Police and was taken into custody without incident, as investigators remain in the area conducting follow-ups.

Police believe this is an isolated incident, no other suspects are wanted by police, and there is no threat to public safety as a result of this incident. Additional information will be released once available.
