The Brantford Police Service is seeking witnesses, as well as dash camera and doorbell camera footage, following an incident that resulted in the death of a man.

On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at approximately 9:00 p.m., officers with the Brantford Police Service were dispatched to the area of Park Road North and Dunsdon Street.

Upon arrival, officers located an injured man in the roadway. The man was transported to hospital where, despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced deceased. 

Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident and are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have witnessed the incident, to contact police. Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have dash camera or doorbell camera footage from the area during the time of 8:30 p.m. to 9:10 p.m. August 4, 2026.
