UPDATE - Motorcyclist Dies Following Serious Collision on King George Road

Officers with the Brantford Police Service continue to investigate the June 24, 2026, collision involving a car and motorcycle that occurred on King George Road near Varadi Avenue.
The motorcycle rider who was transported to a trauma centre has sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation is active and ongoing.

BPS Investigate Motorcycle Collision, Seek Information from Public

June 24, 2026

At approximately 1:50 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2026, officers with the Brantford Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a car and a motorcycle at King George Road near Varadi Avenue. During the collision, the passenger vehicle struck a residence. 

The motorcycle driver suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was transported to the nearest trauma center. 

The driver of the motor vehicle was transported to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation is active and on-going. This portion of King George Road is expected to remain closed for several hours for investigation.
