Suspicious Male Identified and Faces Charges

Brantford Police have arrested and charged a male in relation to the incident in the downtown area yesterday.
On Tuesday October 30, 2018 Brantford Police Service investigated an incident where and unknown male was seen pointing what appeared to be a toy gun at security cameras,  buildings and at a City of Brantford employee in the downtown area of Brantford. 
A 36 year old Brantford male was identified as being the person responsible and has been charged with Criminal Harassment and Breach of Recognizance. 
The BPS would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this investigation.

On Tuesday October 30, 2018 an unknown male was seen walking around businesses and buildings within the downtown area today around 1:00 p.m. The unknown male was wearing a trench coat and was carrying what appears to be a toy gun, similar to a nerf gun.  The male pointed the toy nerf gun at security cameras and offices.   The unknown male is described as a Caucasian male, 5?10?, medium build wearing a black trench coat, cowboy style hat, black pants, black shoes, black sunglasses, red scarf over his face carrying a toy style gun.

Two People Charged With Trafficking After $25,000 Worth of Cocaine Seized

On October 23, 2018, the Brantford Police Service Street Crime Unit and the Woodstock
Police Service Criminal Intelligence/Drug Enforcement Unit, concluded a joint
investigation into the trafficking of cocaine.  As a result of the investigation, 2 parties
were arrested and a search warrant was executed at a residence in Brantford.  
   
The investigation resulted in the seizure of cocaine, with an estimated street value of
$25,000.00, a large quantity of Canadian currency and recovered stolen property. 
 
Accused #1 a 68 year old Brantford male has been charged with Possession of Property
Obtained by Crime and Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000 under the Criminal
Code.  He is further charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine)
under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. 
Accused #2 a 28 year old Ingersoll woman is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Fail to Comply with Undertaking under the Criminal Code.  She is also charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

Police Investigate Armed Robbery

On October 6, 2018 at approximately 6:20 a.m., Maple Convenience located at 373 Colborne Street, Brantford, was robbed by an armed suspect. The suspect is described as a heavy-set, short white male, wearing a grey zip-up hoodie with hood up (hoodie has black stitching on the seams and a kangaroo pouch), baggy grey jogging pants, grey baseball cap with white lettering, grey shoes and he had black gloves on. There was a struggle with the clerk which resulted in the clerk sustaining minor injuries. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash.
A second suspect acted as the lookout. He is much taller than suspect #1. Suspect #2 is a tall, skinny, non- white male, in his 20?s with some facial hair. He was wearing a red Air Jordan hoodie with the black Jumpman logo on the left chest, jeans, and white running shoes. He had a dark piece of cloth sticking out of the right rear pocket of his jeans.
Both suspects were last seen southbound on Park Avenue.
For investigative reasons, the weapon(s) used will not be disclosed.
The suspects should not be approached as they are considered armed and dangerous.
